Mel Kiper-Todd McShay Updated 2011 Mock Drafts

Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay have released updated 2011 NFL Mock Drafts today. This is the first of the season for Kiper and the second for Todd McShay. They will go head to head from now through April, with things really gaining steam here after the conference championship games.

The Mock Drafts are ESPN Insider content, but the top five are usually available. Become an insider by subscribing to ESPN Magazine and you get all the NFL Draft coverage you can digest, year round. It’s an invaluable resource for the NFL Draft fan as well as other sports.

Here is a look at how the two go head to head with the Top Five picks. NFL Draft Today has to go with McShay on the first pick (and we are in our first upcoming Mock Draft for 2011).

1) Panthers:
Kiper: Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn
McShay: Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson

2) Broncos
Kiper: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
McShay: Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn

3) Bills

Kiper: Marcell Dareus, DE, Alabama
McShay: Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
4) Bengals

Kiper: Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
McShay: A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

5) Arizona
Kiper: Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
McShay:Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
