Cincinnati vs. Florida
Sugar Bowl, Jan. 1st
New Orleans, LA
TV: FOX 8:30pm ET
Although there are many names in this game that will be called on NFL Draft day, Tim Tebow will get the most attention of all the Florida players and he is by far not the best NFL Draft Prospect on the team. For one reason, as I’m sure you know, it is questioned whether or not he can play Quarterback in the NFL. Some feel he can as he is a monster competitor, others feel that playing in the spread offense will hurt him. It’s not a question of if he will be draft but more of a where and how he will be used. in this game just sit back and enjoy his final performance. Look for throws to Tight End Aaron Hernandez who should hear his name on Draft Day as well.
On the Defensive side of the ball for Florida you will see one of the top Cornerback prospects in the draft in Joe Haden. Forget about Defensive End Carlos Dunlap’s off the field trouble and watch as he makes up for missing the SEC Championship Game. Brandon Spikes should be one of the top Linebackers taken in the draft. Jermaine Cunningham could be looked at as a rushing linebacker in the NFL.
While watching all those defensive players for Florida look on the otherside of the ball for the Bearcats NFL Draft prospects. This is a big game for Cincinnati Quarterback Tony Pike who can state his case here before the Draft process. The top player for Cincinnati to watch for is Wide Receiver/Returner Mardy Gilyard. Seeing what he can do against top notch competition in Joe Haden will say a lot about him. This guy is a game breaker!
