USC-Boston College NFL Draft Prospects

Boston College vs. USC
Emerald Bowl, Dec. 26
San Francisco, CA
TV: ESPN 8pm ET

Yes folks, USC has joined the mortals to play in the likes of the Emerald Bowl in 2009. With USC barely grasping to a Top 25 ranking, Boston College will be trying to knock them off the day after Christmas. They have their work cut out for them but it could happen. Not only the favorites to win the game, USC will also out gain Boston College on NFL Draft Day in April.

Come draft day Boston College should see their Center, Matt Tennant, go in the middle to late rounds. Tennant has excellent awareness and some good qualities that someone will possibly want to develop. It will be interesting to see if his stock moves closer to the draft. On the defensive side of the ball keep in eye in the middle for Mike McLaughlin,  the tough BC linebacker.

USC is always overflowing with NFL Draft Prospects and should have at least two going in the first round this year. Taylor Mays decided to stay for his senior season and may see his stock drop from where it would have been a year ago after the way the USC defense has performed as a whole. Not fair…I know, but it happens. Everson Griffen is another Trojan defender that could be draft high. He has entered his paper work to the NFL Draft advisory committee and waits for the results.Offensive Tackles are always in demand and Charles Brown (resist Peanuts joke) will see himself draft early. If RB Joe McKnight plays you can get a look at one of the possible top running back prospects. Wide Receiver Damian Williams and Tight End Anthony McCoy will be catching balls at the Emerald Bowl and on Sunday in 2010 and beyond.
